Nathan grew up in Yarrabah Shire Community – Monnman – Ravenshoe – Malanda - Brisbane and showed a raw talent for painting in a cultural aspect from a very early age.  He has a deep love and innate flair for cultural knowledge and love of flora and fauna which reflects in his artwork.  He has been shown, taught and given persmission to express his cultural knowledge by his families, traditional owners/elders and others from various community shires of far north Queensland.  Most of his artwork depicts stories, dances and teachings which have been handed down through his peoples’ generations.
Nathan has been commissioned to paint the new fleet of Wicked Camper’s, the 5 seater Nissan Elgrande’s.
