Melbourne to Adelaide
Reverse the itinery and enjoy Adelaide to Melbourne DAY 1 | Wye River: Pick up your van from the Melbourne depot (3/496 Geelong Road, West Footscray, VIC). At the end of the first day, we camp at Wye River on the Great Ocean Road. VIC It’s a magic spot, there’s a road next to the Caravan park called Grey River Rd, which is popular for a huge wild Koala colony. | DAY 2 | Port Fairy, VIC: Officially the last town on the Great Ocean Rd | DAY 3 | Halls Gap, VIC: Main town in the Grampians National Park. This will be the meeting point for both trips. Beautiful spot in the valley between the two mountain ranges | DAY 4 | Beach Port, SA: Nice spot down the South East of SA, perfect beach to go swimming and chill | DAY 5 | Victor Harbour SA: South of Adelaide, great spot. Whales come up between May – October, and nice beaches | DAY 6 | Adelaide: Drive to Adelaide and drop the vans off at the depot before 2pm (61 Russell Street, Adelaide SA 5000) |
