The camaraderie amongst Wicked Camper people is fabulous! The funniest experience was a young German Wicked Camper giving us the devil horns wave and a big grin as he drove past and then being embarrassed when we stopped to say hi and he realised we were 'older' campers! |

We had lots of people stop us and ask where we hired the camper van from, and many people took photos of us from the back. the best one was a 60 year old woman taking the details from us for Wicked as she wanted to do the same thing...this was in a petrol station in the middle of nowhere. |

Many stories... But the great thing that wicked campers are able to do is to attract attention from onlookers, a great way to meet people, and socialise .I remember on one very special occasion wicked camper NYPD met Wicked camper Alice Cooper, realising we were heading the same direction Sydney,(a fair drive) we set off ,about two hours in to the journey a film crew passed us on the pacific highway filming the vans!...that pretty much set us on our way |

The Wicked camper certainly attracted lots of attention. In fact we met a couple (English, I believe) who were photographing each Wicked camper they saw. We met them in a carpark on Phillip Island. My daughter did the driving and she attracted a bit of attention at the wheel; however, I think the biggest shock for most people was when I (her 59 year old Canadian mother) appeared from the passenger side. Definitely some jaws dropping then |
