Welly welly well. This is one hell of a trip doods. Around 3,000kms all up in fact. For years Aussies have known of Broome’s beauty and attraction, but few have ventured the whole coast. Port Hedland has always been a desert mining town, and the feel of the town is unique – shaped by harsh landscape and geographic isolation. Karijini National Park, further South-East is a natural wonderland, with gorges, waterfalls and massive kangaroos, it’s well worth the trip.

Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef are famous for one thing – whale sharks. They’re big and spotty and friendly. Like me! Monkey Mia has dolphins a plenty as they feed in the calm, protected waters of Shark Bay. The surf up and down this region is world class – and for most part you can find somewhere on the beach for the night.

The Pinnacles are another Australian icon, as are the emu’s that wander the highways. It’s a rugged, beautiful trip and definitely one you won’t ever forget.
