Day 2: Sunshine Coast Maleny & Montville (Sunshine Coast Hinterland)
Distance: ~50 km / 1 hr
Drive inland to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Explore the Glasshouse Mountains, Maleny Lookout, wander Montville's art galleries & boutique shops, or hike Gardners Falls. If you're lucky enough to be around on a Wednesday or Saturday, don't miss out on the Eumundi markets, a paradise of delicious food, coffee and local arts & crafts.

Day 3: Maleny Bunya Mountains
Distance: ~180 km / 2.5 hrs
Turn inland for a change of scenery and explore the Bunya Mountains National Park - lush rainforest, wallabies everywhere, and cool mountain air. Walk the Scenic Circuit or Pine Gorge Lookout.
Camping: Dandabah Campground (Queensland Parks).
Day 4: Bunya Mountains Toowoomba
Distance: ~109 km / 1.5 hrs
It's time to head east towards Toowoomba, Queensland's Garden City. The drive goes along scenic country roads, with rolling hills, farmland and small country towns that make the journey just as beautiful as the destination. Wander through Queens Park, Botanic Gardens, or take a drive to Table Top Mountain Lookout for panoramic views of the Darling Downs.

Day 5: Toowoomba Lamington National Park (Scenic Rim)
Distance: ~196 km / 3 hrs
Head back south east into the Scenic Rim. Explore Lamington National Park, including TreeTop Walks and waterfall hikes. Don't skip Springbrook National Park with its amazing Natural Bridge.

Day 6: Lamington Gold Coast (Burleigh Heads & Hinterland Villages)
Distance: ~90 km / 1.5 hrs
Drive to the Gold Coast, mixing coastal and hinterland stops. Walk the trails at Burleigh Head National Park, enjoy cafes, and maybe stop at Mount Tamborine villages on the way.

Day 7: Gold Coast Brisbane
Distance: ~80 km / 1 hr
